Monday November 27 2006, 13:29 Ticket give away for the Billboard Awards 2006 As we reported to you earlier Janet will be performing the opening act on December 4th during the Billboard Awards which will be held at the MGM theater in Las Vegas. miss-janet.com have got tickets to give away. NO Some fans have been wondering and worried about if this is the end already when it comes down to Janet’s new album. Not to worry though. Janet is currently deciding on a new single not one but possibly two. One is meant for International release while the other will be for a US release. Although these plans are not definite yet. Beginning of the new year Janet will begin production rehearsals for the upcoming tour which she hopes to kick off in April in US and follow with Europe. Wednesday November 08 2006, 10:27 Janet on the cover of Sly and Chic Magazine As reported earlier Janet recently had a photo shoot (last Thursday) which was for the first issue of the magazine new magazine Sly and Chic. Sly and Chic Magazine: a new quality English based music / style magazine with International distribution by Comag who is owned by Conde Nast and National Magazines, the biggest distributor in the world. Very hip and also diverse, not dealing just one genre of music, and all with a style element. Photographer Michel Haddi completed a main fashion shooting of Janet Jackson for the magazine, with Robert Behard styling. The shoot took place in a private home in the Hollywood hills. Janet performed "So Excited" and talked to Ellen. Janet also visited the Tyra Banks daytime talk show which will be aired on November 20th. Janet sat down with Tyra to talk about the new album. The show was pre-recorded and will air on november 10th in the US. Friday November 03 2006, 16:21 Lebo Mathosa Dies Shaun writes: "Johannesburg - South African singer Lebo Mathosa died in an accident east of Johannesburg in the early hours on Monday, her manager Linzy Cowley said. Mathosa's driver apparently lost control of the Toyota Prado they were travelling in on the N3 highway on the East Rand. The vehicle overturned between the Heidelberg Road off-ramp and Grey Avenue in Germiston, Ekurhuleni metro police spokesperson Kobeli Mokheseng said. The R&B and Kwaito singer died at the scene. The driver suffered minor injuries, and was treated for shock. Mathosa, who was once part of the hit group "Boom Shaka" was the opening act for Janet Jackson's Velvet Rope Tour in South Africa in 1998. " Read more... |
